A "fan-site" corner for various animes I've recently watched.

This anime series is actually suprisingly hard to find in Singapore. Expect to dig around quite a lot before you're able to find this. I wouldn't blame you if you take the lazy way out and ask someone in the US to buy you a copy of the entire DVD series. Or you could always borrow a copy from someone nearby who already has one.
Overview:Mahou Sensei Negima! is about a 10 year old magician, Negi Springfield, who had recently graduated from a magical training school in the UK. To become the Magister Magi (a great wizard), he was sent to Mahora Academy in Japan for a test-like assignment - as a homeroom teacher of an all-girls 8th grade class.
Comments: Animation isn't the best; appears stiff and unnatural occasionally. Excessive use of foreshadowing that may spoil the plot.A surprising lack of fanservice: such a scenario (boy surrounded by a lot of older girls) has plenty of opportunities for it; in this area, the anime took a direction opposite to the manga. On a whole, it could have been better. (The cost of hiring so many voice actors could havebeen a factor.)
Opinion: If you're too lazy to read the manga but still want to understand most of the story, then take a look. Otherwise, stick to the manga. (The anime isn't a disaster, it just didn't meet expectations. The live adaptation was way, way worse than the anime, anyway.)
It's the content filling season!
